Frequently Asked Questions of Users and Members

Q: How do I become a member?
A: It's simple and takes less than a minute. Just click the gold button on the right hand side of the home page, fill out a short form, and presto; you're a member of the most useful wedding planning site on the web!

Q: How much does it cost to become a member?
A: Nothing! Membership is FREE!

Q: What are the benefits of being a member?
A: As a member, you will have access to features on TheHappyPair.com that are not available to non-members. "My Tools", which include a vendor organizer, a task planner and more, are only available to members. Members will also see a countdown to their wedding day each time they login to the site. New member benefits are being added all the time and it's free to join, so I guess the question is: What are you waiting for?

Q: What are "My Tools"?
A: "My Tools" are personal resources available to our members which allow them to plan their weddings with ease. "My Vendors" allows a bride to manage the contact information of her chosen florist, reception hall, DJ, etc. from one location. Brides can add to, delete from, print, and email the list as she chooses. "My Tasks" makes keeping track of what you have left to do simple. Here, a time table listing common wedding planning steps is given, along with a way to check off those items that have been completed. You'll stay organized and feel on the path to the Big Day as you accomplish your tasks and keep tabs on what you still need to complete. Other tools are currently being added, so check back with us soon.

Q: I liked your member memories; how can I submit one?
A: We are currently updating our site to allow members to submit member memories online to add to our current collection. So, write down your best memories and check back with us.

Q: Will I be compensated for the member memories that I submit?
A: No. While our members enjoy sharing their stories, we cannot compensate you for articles or member memories submitted. See Terms and Conditions for Articles/Member Memories for details.

Q: Why would sandwich shops and places like Boston Market be listed under Caterers?
A: Some of our members are looking to cater fancy receptions, for which sandwich shops may not be appropriate, but others are looking to cater bachelor parties, engagement barbeques or other events and may be interested in a less formal cater. At TheHappyPair.com, we wish to provide our members with all the products, services, and facilities available, and then allow them to choose what suits their needs.
